Self-Drive Car Rental Terms and Conditions:

 

1. Eligibility:

 

To rent a vehicle, the driver must be at least 20 years of age and possess a valid driver's license issued by the relevant authority. Additional age restrictions may apply to certain vehicle categories.

 

2. Booking and Payment:

 

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

A valid credit/debit card and a security deposit are required to confirm a booking.

Payment for the rental must be made in advance, and additional charges such as fuel, insurance, and optional extras will be charged upon return of the vehicle.

 

3. Rental Period:

 

The rental period begins and ends at the times specified in the booking confirmation.

Any extension of the rental period must be requested in advance and is subject to availability and additional charges.

 

4. Vehicle Collection and Return:

 

The vehicle must be collected and returned at the agreed-upon location and time.

Late returns may be subject to additional charges.

The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as it was rented, with a full tank of fuel, unless otherwise agreed upon.

 

5. Insurance:

 

All vehicles are covered by comprehensive insurance, subject to an excess/deductible amount.

 

The excess amount may vary depending on the vehicle category and the driver's age.

Additional insurance options, such as collision damage waiver (CDW) and personal accident insurance (PAI), may be available for purchase.

 

6. Driving Restrictions:

 

The vehicle may only be driven by the authorized driver(s) specified in the rental agreement.

The vehicle must not be driven:

By anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

For illegal purposes or in violation of traffic laws.

Off-road or on unpaved surfaces unless it is specifically designated as an off-road vehicle.

 

7. Maintenance and Repairs:

 

The renter is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is properly maintained and used in a safe manner.

Any mechanical issues or damage to the vehicle must be reported to the rental company immediately.

 

8. Liability:

 

The renter is liable for any damage or loss to the vehicle, including theft, vandalism, and accidents, during the rental period, up to the maximum excess amount specified in the rental agreement.

The rental company is not liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle.

 

9. Cancellation and Refunds:

 

Cancellations made within 24 hours/days of the rental start date may incur a cancellation fee.

No refunds will be provided for cancellations made after the rental period has commenced.

 

10. Changes to Terms:

 

- The rental company reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or other communication channels.

 

By renting a vehicle with 28holidays, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
